"M'lord, a messenger has come, he awaits your permission to enter.""Send him in, Alisia." The King reclined in his throne, bored and tiring of the issues brought to him every hour of every day. But his plan would fix that, he just needed to make some quick arrangements, and all Bekoria would be his to rule. The Doors at the end of the Great Hall opened, and a skinny young man ran in, exhausted, and holding a scroll in his hand. "Speak, why have you come.""To.... Deliver a..... message..... phew..." The messanger said between breaths, wiping his brow. "Well that was obvious, what's the message?""It says for your eyes only". He went to approach the throne, but a Blade swung down a centimetre ahead of him. "Do not approach the king", Alisia said, removing the scroll from the boy's sweating hands. "Yes Ma'am", he gulped, stepping back, nervously eyeing the huge Guan-Dao she weilded, among other things. "Your emminence", she bowed, presenting the scroll. "Thank you, Lady Grayheart. Now, to see what this is.........". His eyes travelled across the scroll, all in the room waiting silently for his reaction. The King brought it closer to his face, suddenly gripping his chair as his expression changed. "Oh shit", the messenger thought, as he stood petrified at the foot of the steps to the throne. "CURSES!", Nick bellowed, slamming his fist on the chair arm, "That two-timing traitorous cur! I'll teach them to defy the power of the King of Men! Alisia! Gather a small force of men, and arm them well, we're dealing with this with our own assets. As for YOU", he pointed at the messenger, "You're lucky you're only the messenger, but tell the one who gave you this to solve this problem IMMEDIATELY!!""Y-y-yessir, my liege, sir!", he stammered, as he sprinted out the door. "And the rest of you, go to your duties, I need to speak to Lady Grayheart privately."

In the King's chambers....

"So, what happened, darling? Why's my little Emperor to be all gwumpy", she pouted, almost mockingly, talking as if he were a small child. "I am Angry because that Half-Blood Bastard we hired botched it! According to Nithenal he's allied with the Bloody Greenskin. How, just how the fuck did he manage that?!""Well, we can easily kill an amateur assassin and an Orc with some soldiers of our own, they're alot more compliant after that shade thingy you did.""It gets worse.""How much worse""Mikael and Kaytelin are with them, and that hulk from the Yellow wolf tribe, the one who slew Ingvar?""Ooh, that is much worse, but I'm sure the soldiers can do this, they'll outnumber them and be better equipped, even without shades.""I hope you're right""Now", she said, sliding up behind him, running her hands across his back and chest, "I assume you need a little relaxing?""Yes, I think that is in order""Excellent", she grinned, as she kissed him on the cheek.....
The Black is back, and he isn't happy.........
